Oliver and Olga met in 2016 and began collaborating on the book shortly thereafter. Oliver was working as a screenwriter and became inspired to write the book after meeting his niece for the first time. Olga was working as a graphic designer at an ad agency, and her creature sketches - often created for staff birthday cards or desk decorations - led to a chance meeting between the two. They started discussing ideas for illustrating the book and found their styles to be a match made in monster heaven! This book is the result of many many hours illustrating and crafting the book, and we hope you enjoy it!
